Casa De Mirita is not a hotel or apartment, but rather an opportunity to stay with a family in Cajamarca, Peru. We enjoyed our two nights here with Vicky, Mirita, and Vicky’s daughter Dianna.

If you are looking for an apartment or hotel during your stay in Cajamarca, why not live with a family instead and experience Peru as Peruvians experience Cajamarca, Peru?

Homestay in Alleppey Town

Posted on April 17th, 2010 by admin

Look inside and around this wonderful Indian Homestay in Kerala.

In the Thatampally district of Alleppey town itself, Pierce Residency is an elegant house in a leafy residential street. It is just 5 minutes walk from a canal where houseboats cruise through on their way to the backwaters. Mr. and Mrs. Vinod are the hosts, who live with their two children and grandparents in the house; they are a charming traditional family who enjoy going to Alleppeys long white sand beach (2km away), watching Hindi films together and playing badminton. The family goes back 5 generations in Alleppey and are the perfect guides for a visitor wanting to do more than just the tourist trails; they can give an insight into the city from a locals point of view.

Namaste!

Buddhist, Ngima Dawa Tamang established Family-Home-Stay for foreign visitors looking for a less conventional but deeper cultural experience. Family-Home-Stay provides ample opportunity to immerse oneself in an authentic joint family system – the Nepalese way.

Within the rhythm of this large loving family you share a table and meal with young and old alike. Traditional Nepalese home cooked meals are prepared in the kitchen from home grown organic vegetables. The Tamang family advocates cross-cultural experiences believing that together we can help transform the world.

The Home is located on the North side of Kathmandu Valley [Near Kapan Gumba] only 5 Km from Tribhuvan International Airport.
Visit above site for more info.
