Kansai Gaidai Home Stay

Quickly talking about pre-home stay and showing around the house

Remember, you won’t find out who your family is until you get to Japan. I know it’s annoying…but hopefully knowing this will clarify things a bit more for prospective students.

How can i check if someone even exists?

Posted on February 25th, 2010 by admin

So , I am going to visit NYC in summer. I live in Europe and I will be staying with a person I have never seen in my life. There’s this homestay program. It’s like you have to pay for living at someones home, i’m sure you all know it. But is there some website where I could check if that person is real and that he isn’t lying to me? All help comes in handy so thanks .

You could run a background check on the person. It will cost you. Check out Interpol. They will have some spin off services that will enable you to run a credit or criminal check on the individual. You might want to call the person first that and get that said individuals e-mail address and let that person know you are doing it for others back home to have contact information.

Im a 15y/o guy. There’s this girl I like, but I don’t know if she likes me. How do I find out if she likes me?

Posted on February 23rd, 2010 by admin

She lives in the US and in another country. It so happens that I’m learning that language and going to that country and city on a homestay program this summer. I want to make her like me but I don’t know how to? Girls what do you like in a guy’s appearance and personality? How do you tell a guy you like them unconsciously? Please help me!

dont go up to her and ask her get to know her, then once you guys know eachother really well, ask her to come to like a cafe or some kind of place (even like the zoo!) and ask her then, ask her truly if she likes you. That is the best time. but dont forget, get to kno her first!

Can I enroll into a charter high school from a foreign high school?

Posted on February 21st, 2010 by admin

I want to go to University High School Fresno. But currently I’m living in South Korea. I am planning to use a homestay program to live in Korea. Is it possible for me to go to a charter high school? I am both an American and Korean citizen.

Your best bet is to visit the website of the school, and read their admission requirements. They should also have a "contact us" link on the website, so email them and ask them directly!
