A rental contract is a legally binding document. And, depending on what exactly your contract says then they might not be able to make you pay more without changing the contract with a writing. Read your contract carefully. Either way, you can move out if you want to. The worst case is they come after you for money. There should be clause in the contract about dissolving the contract within reason.
