Eu não concordo com o professor entrevistado. DE JEITO NENHUM.
Isso de: depende mais do aluno do que do método ou professor, está errado. Depende dos dois!!! 50% 50%
Passei 8 anos tentado aprender e nada, hoje conhecí um método que resolver de vez o problema. Não vou divulgar o nome, por ética.

Concordo com o …
Concordo com o professor entrevistado. Obviamente ele também recomenda que se viva no país de origem da língua para se ter o conhecimento completo do vocabulário mas o foco da discussão não era esse. Quem se dedica, lê livros (principalmente em voz alta), assite filmes com legendas em inglês, enfim, o caminho é por aí!

I think that …
I think that learning a foreign language is not that difficult.
As a matter of fact it has to do with the level of commitment one has with it I mean how a bad a person want it.
I´ve been studying english by myself and presently I´m studying French Italian and German at the same time.
I´m an english teacher in Brazil and I intend in a short term range teach other languages as well.
If you really want it you can do it.

O video é muito …
O video é muito legal. O Gemusician que deveria nos contar de que pais ele veio pois se for Brasileiro nem por toda a sua vida foi capaz de aprender a escrever a palavra país. Pessoas assim realmente que nem vivendo no PAÍS são capazes de aprender jamais terão chance alguma estudando um novo idioma.

O video é muito legal. O Gemusician que deveria nos contar de que pais ele veio pois se for Brasileiro nem por toda a sua vida foi capaz de aprender a escrever a palavra país. Pessoas assim realmente que nem vivendo no PAÍS são capazes de aprender jamais terão chance alguma estudando um novo idioma.

Interessante. Acho que o mais importante ao aprender um idioma é a motivação. Se vc quer aprender qualquer idioma, tente partir de coisas que vc gosta, como música, filmes, viagens, etc. O método não necessariamente quer dizer aprendizado certo.
