I was just given a bike that can fold, and I’m wondering if taking it with me to New Zealand would be a good or a bad idea. I’m planning on doing some homestays but what if I were to stay in a hostel? Do they have places to store bikes while i’m out exploring the town? I’m going to be there for a year and I’m just wondering if anyone has tips. Thanks!!

A bike will be good fun in NZ.

Just make sure that it would not be cheaper to buy (then resell) or rent one in NZ.
