student ambassador programs like people to people?

do any of you guys know any similar programs like people to people?
basically, its a program where one and a bunch of other students (middle school through high school) go to a different country and learn stuff, make new friends, and stay at a homestay.
ive traveled to europe with them, and i was looking for something similar–possibly a bit cheaper?

People to People’s the big program. They sell candy and do fundraisers to help you pay for it, so it’s not that huge of a problem.
That being said, if you plan on going to college, just do a legit study abroad. People to People is fine, but it really is just a long vacation.

If you dont’ want to go with a group and would rather go as an exchange student and live with a family, try AFS, Youth For Understanding or a Rotary Club scholarship
