Where is the best place to stay in Korea for student?

Posted on June 14th, 2010 by admin

I am just been accepted into Yonsei University for the Special Summer Course and was wondering; cuz I don’t want to be stuck with people speaking ENglish 24/7, and I WANT to improve my Korean. Is it better to live at hasukjib or homestay or the dormitories??
Anyone been to Korea and experience something?? Please help. And if hasukjib or homestay is better, which one and how do I get those places?? I am new to Korea =S

Hey I’ve already answered your other question! lol
Well, like I said, if you are going for summer, you can’t really stay in hasuk cuz they’ll require you to stay for at least 3 months and make deposits and all that when you sign the contract…..
I’ve lived in the dorm and all they speak is English lol so if you want to learn Korean, then you’re best bet is to stay in homestay hehe if you go to the school’s website, they say they can match you up with a homestay family and that will be the best option since House is the best place to live and since the school is in the middle of the city, if you try to look for a place to stay near the school, it won’t be good cuz it’s not really a residential area…
I wish I knew of this sooner, then I would have just made the deposit and lived in an apartment =’(…

Good luck!
